I have a lovely amd athlon 3000+ with 160gb hard drive and shiny case. I only built it about a year ago and it all needs upgrading already. I keep a backup on my ace little media hard drive too, it'll plug right into a TV and can handle DivX playback and everything

I use the Gimp (GNU Image Manipulation Package), sometimes photoshop, inkscape etc. I'm quite into all the free open source software projects out there. It's amazing what you can get for nothing when the Microsofts and Adobes of this world are charging hundreds of pounds for comparable software
I also have a genius little gadget which I use all the time. I bought a special offer 2gb USB drive for £17 and loaded on a load of stuff off the portable apps website. now I have a USB drive that contains a whole office suite, Firefox web browser, anti-virus, email, calendar, photo editing software, Vector drawing software, FTP software, an HTML editing package and a load more. Yes I'm sad but I love it
